Chapter 1~ How It All Began

This is me.
My name is Fabian Sedlock, and I am normal.
The reason I say so, is because many people don’t really understand me. As a child, a lot of people didn’t like me, because I was always talking about the importance of the ecosystem.
And it’s very important, you know.
By the way you’re staring at me; you obviously don’t understand what I’m talking about. Maybe as you read, you’ll come to understand, maybe.
Maybe, before, they didn’t understand me because I wasn’t as charismatic as I am now.
But no matter how I start the conversation, nobody understands. They don’t understand that the ecosystem is important. Composting and recycling are just two easy ways to make the world a better place.
Still.
Nobody understands the importance!
And here we are to present day. I was working on my Charisma, trying to think of new ways to approach the subject, rather than just jumping in head first. That method obviously doesn’t work.
And then I heard my door bell ring.
So, these people are the welcome committee? They look rude. Except the old lady, she looks sweet.
“Come on in!” I smiled.
Zelda: “Do we have to?”
Bessie: “Yes. Be nice now, will you?”
Zelda: “You know I don’t like doing this.”
Bessie: “Just suck it up.”
Well, Zelda, if you don’t like doing this, you could always, uh huh, LEAVE!
I decided to work on Dustin Langerak, as he seemed the least mean, and was actually around my age, sort of. We chatted okay for a while, but he looked a little understanding. I wondered if maybe I could get him to defect to recycling bins.
So I gathered all my charisma practices and let them loose on the poor guy!
He seemed positively thrilled by the idea! He immediately went home to tell everyone about my idea.
“Thank you!” He cried, before flinging himself out of the house.
I ran to the door, and poked my head out.
“You’re welcome, take care!”
And that was how my mission started, my mission to make the world more aware of the ecosystem, to make it better.
